Keith Odums has been a proud resident of the Wappinger community for 23 years. A devoted husband and father, he is deeply committed to making a positive difference in the lives of Dutchess County residents. Now, he’s stepping up to serve as your next County Legislator for District 13, representing the Towns of Wappinger, Hopewell Junction, and East Fishkill.

Keith believes that strong relationships are the foundation of a thriving community. His campaign is focused on addressing community concerns and driving sustainable improvements in four key areas: social well-being, eco-environmental services, infrastructure development, and fiscal stability.

He is committed to actively listening to residents, engaging in meaningful dialogue, and proposing smart, forward-thinking legislation that reflects the diverse needs of all constituents.

With a broad and accomplished background in community service, Keith has served for eight years as a Trustee on the Wappinger Central School District Board of Education, elected three times by residents. During his tenure, he has twice held the role of Vice President and served on the Policy, Operational Audit, and Strategic Planning Committees. In addition, Keith holds leadership roles on several nonprofit boards, where he promotes strong governance and drives collaborative solutions. He is also well known for his longstanding involvement in youth sports, serving as both a coach and mentor, helping to shape the next generation through teamwork and leadership. His extensive record of volunteerism reflects a lifelong passion for advocacy and community building.

Professionally, Keith is a seasoned business consultant who brings a data-informed, analytical approach to decision-making. He is skilled at listening, investigating, and crafting solutions that align with the mission of District 13 while serving the broader interests of Dutchess County.
